First off I'd say I have NEVER played at a service on Thanksgiving day, truthfully I didn't know they existed. Needless to say this will be my first service. Anyone got any ideas for some Thanksgiving day songs???

Only thing that pops into my head is Oh Give Thanks-JC McAllister.

lol if only you had a clue of where I play.

On a side note, it will be my last time playing for them I'm going back to a cogic church or a more upbeat/contemporary baptist church, haven't made up my mind as to which church I'm going to, I have 3 to chose from. So I guess I want to go out with a bang??

For Gospel,there's "Thank you, Lord" by Walter Hawkins...Also a more sedate THANK YOU LORD in many hymnals...

I never played for a "Thanksgiving service" either but I would definitely go with Judith M's OH Give Thanks.

Give thanks is a good one also I think td jakes sing it
