Fox News Again Accused of Airing Misleading Video

Synopsis/Snippet:

Wednesday's incident occurred when Fox News host Gregg Jarrett mentioned that a Sarah Palin appearance and book signing in Grand Rapids, Michigan had a massive turnout. As footage rolled of a smiling and waving Palin amidst a throng of fans, Jarrett noted that the former Republican vice-presidential candidate is "continuing to draw huge crowds while she's promoting her brand-new book,'' adding that the images being shown were "some of the pictures just coming in to us.... The lines earlier had formed this morning."

However, the video used in the segment was from a 2008 McCain/Palin campaign rally.

C'mon, y'all.  Fox News is a shining example of fair and balanced reporting and should be praised for their journalistic integrity unlike the liberal media that embellishes the truth and distorts the facts.  It is because of the liberal media that we have foolishly elected Barack Obama to the office of the Presidency which is nothing but trouble for this once great nation.  Fox News is simply the single most reliable source of news on the planet that represents the true conservative values of America!

I looked at the video.  That was SOOOOOO intentional!  I'm trying to figure out what change in the script could they possibly had to justify what they did?  Were they going to compare the lines for the election and the lines for the book?  If so where's the footage of the book signing lines?

"[old footage]They came in droves to see her campaign .  [new footage]Now Sara Palin's supporters are coming out in droves again to her book signing. ".  Yeah, I'm not the greatest news writer, but this statement doesn't even NEED the old footage.

But I love how they actually trust that their viewers are dumb enough to fall for that... lol.

  Well, they've been getting away with tons of things and still have tons of viewers soo....I halfway don't blame them when they assume their audience's low intelligence
