We're having a Thanksgiving concert this Sunday!
Our selections that specifically talk about an attitude of gratitude and contentment include:
- "Hallelujah, Anyhow" by Daystar (there's also a slightly different version by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir)
- "Don't Let Me Forget" by Victor Johnson
- "My Soul Is Satisfied" by Alex Hamilton (which reminds me that I have to update the other post on this forum where I was asking where that song came from!)
- We were going to a reharmonized version of the hymn "It Is Well", but the choir wasn't catching on fast enough so I had to drop it. Maybe next year.
And general songs of praise for God's goodness:
- "Hallelujah, Lord" by Sounds of Blackness
- "My Help" by Jackie Gouche Farris
- "Oh Thou Most High" by CeCe Winans
- "Faithful is Our God" by Hez
