I agree. The problem is locating a place that actually has CD changers, factory or otherwise.  :-\

You might as well be looking for a tape recorder! ;D;D

Not as long as they're still making CDs. ;D ;D

So I reading this thread...yeah, I can't help ya!

This maybe a slight hi-jack, but someone mentioned "RIP Circuit City" and I just saw an ad for CircuitCity.com and Cyber Monday Madness. So, if the site is legit, check it out. I always shopped CC before BestBuy. Not sure if i'd trust getting anything just over the website though, but good to know CC isn't completely gone.

Ok, i'm done! Good luck on the search.

See I thought that too, but apparently it is just in website form now. I guess how Montgomery Wards is now catalog/online only and they closed all the stores. I know on the CC website, it says it is under new ownership.

I hope it works our for you, SJ.  But while you're on the subject, can I throw a related question out there?  I'm about as out of my element as you are, lol!

I been thinking about getting something with an aux jack so I can plug in my phone (pandora) or my ipod.  Can I modify my current stereo to do that, or do I need to install an entirely new one?

Depends on the type of stereo. If it doesn't have a connection, you can get a FM Transmitter from Walmart or Radioshack. It'll allow you to connect your audio device to the radio via the ear phone jack, and broadcast it using the short-range FM transmitter. It's good if you're in one city all the time. If you travel far, you may have to change the station.

I have one of those, but I never got it to work real well... maybe I can use it in town but not on road trips.  I think the road trip is where it frustrated me and got thrown in the glove compartment, lol!
