Its funny how ya'll went from talking about KCS CD to Sister T smelling shoes (I am sitting at work crackin' up at ya'll).

I actually bought her CD on my way out of town on thursday.  I usually listen to more than once because sometimes songs have to grow on me.  Overall, it's an okay CD, definitely not better than the last one (my opinion).  I love "Oh The Glory" "Favor" is good, ummmmmm....i think that's it.  

We all have our down moments and maybe this is hers, so that means the next one will be (I pray) the BOMB!

Now if you want to talk about a CD, Juanita Bynums new one "Passion" I love.  "You Are Holy" "wonderful is your name (revised), "Heart's Desire," "You Are Great (this is the bomb)," "Jesus What A Wonder," "I Don't Mind Waiting"..........

Okay ya'll, just but the double CD

I'm not good at posting (I'm learning chords, etc. myself but, if someone has the chords to You Are Holy, You Are Great You Do Miracles, etc. I would really appreciate it).

Thanks Carla!  I saw it at the Gospel Shop last night (right next to Bruce Parham's) but I was waiting to hear a review of the two before purchasing.

I'll buy hers today.  Any word on Pastor Bruce's?  Let me know!

MY 2 CENTS-

      Some people's opinons can come off stronger than some, BUT that is not reason to begin to act like the enemy and bring confusion and division among the saints of god. Because of the simple fact that after its all said and done we all have one purpose....TO SERVE GOD. If you don't like the cd just say that but don't cutt her reputation and blow things out of porpotion and discourage others from purchasing her cd. As I stated before some people's opinons can come off stronger than some, and lets just leave it at that.
       And in my oinion since I have been to all of her recent concerts in my area. And counting the many concerts she's done in cooperation with my church (even singing with her) Karen is better than ever. I could do nothing but stop, stare, and admire one of the world's best singers.Even though I may be young I have always been a walking karen advertisement and die hard fan since birth and always will be. She along with Daryl Coley is ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT ONE DOUBT AND NO UTTERANCE MY FAVORITE SINGERS PERIOD (in cluding gospel, r&b, rap, hip hop, and etc.) Very few people can even sing half as good as her. No matter what is said about this cd, poeple will still buy her cd's including myself and millions more. So in conclusion this post to me has gotten out of hand with too many strong opinions, sharp words, and attitudes. SO I'M GOING TO PRAY THAT WHATEVER COULD BE WRONG WITH KAREN THAT GOD GUIDES HER IN HER PATH AS AN ARTIST AND EVEN AN VOCAL ICON.

okay im just gonna say this and leave it alone.  i have been to more than enough of karen's concerts! I AM 1 OF HER BACK UP SINGERS FROM LAS VEGAS! so I've sang "It's Not Over" more than enough times to know the level that it could go to! lastly i COMPLETELY agree with jlee and prost8. I especially like the song "Oh The Glory of Your Presence" You Can tell that it was coming from her heart, belly, etc.

Question:  was Twinkie playing the B3 on any of her songs? I haven't read the CD cover yet.  I love to see her play....it just amazes me.

Looking forward to more from this family!!

Chris, I just read this today.  Sorry, but I've actually been avoiding reading this to avoid confusion.

I think the sickness had a lot to do with it.  I'm just glad she recorded again.  When I get in my "I wanna hear some Karen" mood.  I'll just do Finally, Second Chance, and The Heavens Are Telling (along with some old Clark Sisters' recordings I have).  I may listen to "Favor"....that CD just doesn't appeal to me, and even though she's my favorite singer, I'm entitled NOT to like her CD AND I DON'T.

I totally agree. I can only hope they find something that works without changing what worked. Good Luck! But like yourself I'll stick to the oldies...

LOL, I just noticed because I remember this thread when it first came up, and I didn't get the album for a long time, but when I got it I loved it.
