I didnt watch the video, but i think the problem is that Oprah is so influential to not only millions of women, but millions of Christian women. Thats probably why its a big deal.
If they are true Christians this will have no effect.. There is nothing that I can conceive of that would make me not believe what I know to be true.. The universe declares his glory for sure.. and the Hebrew scriptures SCREAM the salvation we received on the cross.. from the holidays to construction of the tabernacle of Moses.. to the prophets.. to the thousands who saw him after he was killed. Even if it had all been a "passover plot" and he didn't really die on the cross .. ( as if...

)just from what we know about the scourgings that the Romans gave.. he certainly wouldn't have been up and walking about without a mark on his body from the beatings he took.. and mind you he got beaten more than once.. so all this testifies to what we as true believers know to be true.. so whatever Oprah thinks, if it is contrary to those truths, will only mislead those who are already dead. If you aren't a Christian then this all fits right in with your world view.. but if you are the this is just another statement from a misguided rich chick ... I'll pray for her.. because all her money don't mean squat if she believes what she says and dies with it...
