Man, I wish I would have seen this a little earlier. As of late, I've been strongly considering selling my motif es7 to fund a nord. Plus, I'm right up HWY 117 from you in Wilson.

it would probably have better Rhodes sounds as well. I guess it depends on what you play. I kinda did the same thing, but I plan on getting another yamaha as I miss the synth sounds

I've seen the electro 2 rack module up on ebay and thought about purchasing that, but I haven't heard anything in regards to its functionality. I thought about using that and my ES as the controller.

Well LGM....i received my Korg bright and early around noon today. Couldn't WAIT to get er out of the box. However, 3-4 hours later after long observation, serious playing, bonding, thinking, and praying....it ended up back in the box just the way she came off the UPS truck. ABSOLUTELY not what i was looking for. It's a perfect secondary keyboard....dist guitars, strings, brass, synths, rhodes.....all of those are OFF THE CHAIN. But the pianos, and organs.....weeeeeeeeaaaakkkkk!!! Wow...so tmw im sending her back, in exchange for a yamaha mo6!!!

Pianos on the Mo6 are weak too, organs are good though, key action feels horrible.

you dont have a sam ash near you?

I like the pianos on the mo6 a heck of a lot better than any other "affordable keyboard" on the market. They sound recorded, and more acoustic....versus what i heard on that korg i had yesterday. The action may not be the best, but its still good...nothing to complain about....they're not weighted. I'm happy with my choice this time. It's what I should have done to begin with---and thats choose the board i know more about and have played RECENTLY and not 6-7 months ago

I agree and disagree! You definitely have to do some tweaking to the pianos. I tried that, and honestly I was able to develop some overall "better" sounding pianos on the board. However, they still never reached my liking. But hey, at the end of the day.....to each their own.
