Hi all. I have to learn Lord i lift your name on high. They want me to lead it but all I know are the chords and and the notes for it. Which are G, C, D, C. Can any help me jazz it up? P.S I have a guitar for years but never practiced it consistantly but now i feel the need to use it and i am basically brand new to it.

Well rather than the same old G D C, try Gadd9, Bm7, Am7. That'll give you a new sound.

while i'm sure you could reharmonize it and come up with some cool progressions, sometimes it's just as good to find some new voicings for the chords that are already there. remember, the simple/easy answer is usually the right one.
