Nope. Portis can't remain healthy enough and LJ is too old. In addition, they have no receivers and they don't know if they want Campbell as their QB.

The Jets move is baffling. If you're willing to pay LT that cash with the incentives, why not pay TJ who had nearly double the yardage output?

I think LT has something to prove this year!  If I'm not mistaken, Jones was making more than what they are paying LT.  *kanye shrug* ...lol

Bro, the person you're baffled by is Thomas Jones.  The Jets tried to get him take a pay cut, he refused, then went somewhere else for less money anyway.     It would be one thing if the Jets just dumped him without trying to give him a pay cut.

If they signed LT for the same amount they would've paid TJ, then it would be baffling, but LT is making less than Thomas Jones would've made this year had they kept him.
