Again, 1400+ yds and 14 TDs ain't nothin' to sneeze at @ any age. 
I'm thinkin' they should've tried to trade him or restructure his deal (fill it with incentives or whatever) and keep if for no other reason than they have NO idea how Leon W. will do after coming back from his broken leg AND, god forbid, Greene gets injured.
Yea, the numbers are great.
They actually did ask him to take a pay cut and he refused. He was asking for a RAISE at the end of last year, then he had a great year this year, so he refused the pay cut.
With a pay cut/incentive-heavy deal I would've said keep him.
Yea, with Leon Washington pretty much a question mark and no reasonable backup, we'll be in trouble if he gets injured. I hope the Jets are looking for an insurance policy as we type. Preferably a cheap Policy named Tomlinson.
