Ok, let me put it like this:  If you got to spend 10 years (as a back-up), making millions of dollars doing what you love more than anything other than the Lord, do you give a flying fart what the naysayers (like you  ) say about you?

The QB position is the only position in the NFL where a first round pick winding up as a career back-up is considered a bust.

We have to remember that Denver traded up to get him. Let's not put their stupidity on Tebow for drafting him in the 1st round.

In a word, yes. If it's what I love doing more than the Lord then I want to be thought of as being good at it.

Being backup doesn't mean you're not good.  I consider Frank Reich good, very good even.  There was just this cat named Jim Kelly in his way.

...at the end of a 14 or so year career.  Not sure if that's a fair measurement.

If a slow kid picked 199th overall can become an all-time great (ALREADY), win superbowls, and marry Gisele Bundchen, why can't Tebow at least be a successful QB?  Or at least give Gisele a call to see what's up?

I don't feel one bit sorry for him.  He talked all of this noise about not wanting to be a backup to Chris Johnson when he would have still been making 7 figures.  He was all about himself, and wanting his own shine instead of humbling himslef and just being grateful for making what was basically free money.  Even though he had a stellar season in '08 when CJ was a rookie and he seemed to love the attention, he seemed quite jealous of all of the attention the CJ got last season and now it has cost him via running his mouth.  I actually lost quite a bit of respect for him this past season.  It would be quite amusing if he came back to TN with his tail in between his legs.

That's a lot of cheese to pay an old guy.   I like McNabb but I don't know about paying anyone on the downside of there career that much cheese.
