yea thats decent. $2000 would be a no brainer

The MAP price for a new Yamaha Motif XS 8 is about $3600.00.   I have seen them on sale at a 20% discount from the MAP, or $2850.00(but not often).  A good hardcase could cost as much as $500.00.  The stand is not significant unless it is a really good one.  There is also a big if.  If the XS is in very good condition, updated and not so old(hasn't been out but three years) and has not been abused. Then $2300.00 would not be a bad price. $2000.00 would be a good price.(in my opinion) Check out the figures and see how they fit you.  I would like to know what you decide.

Like the rest said,not a bad price;check e-bay,craigslist for your area.Also,see if you can get some sales receipt;I've seen some deals that look kinda shady-make sure it's not a stolen board.

yeah it's good..I paid 2250 for my xs6 but it was new.

It is a very good deal. I bought a Motif XS8 w/ stand in January for 3104.00 and a hardcase I paid 375.00. I would take it if it in good condition also check to see if it has internal memory added.
