I know that this might be a lil' off topic but....
Have you ever been driving down a street and a lil' kid walks right in front of your car and you all but tear up your car trying to stop and that kid looks you in the eyes like "you betta slow down..."
Maybe this lady had that mentality...but 2 tons is easier to stop that 200+ tons
This is off topic too, but people laugh at me when I'm driving... I believe strongly in the "it takes a village" proverb. When I see kids (young ones, I don't mess with the big ones 'cause they are crazy) doing anything other than playing nicely, I'll slow down and holler at 'em...
"Get out the street! You know you're not supposed to be playing in the street!!!"
"Did you look both ways before you crossed that road? Be careful!!"
"Pull them pants up, boy!!!"
"Why aren't you in school?"
"The street lights are on, aren't you supposed to be home??"
Or just a general, "y'all behaving?"
Or when I see the kids at the bus stop, "y'all have a good day at school today, and mind your teachers!!"
I don't play with these chirr'n... I don't care if it's my neighborhood, your neighborhood, or I'm on vacation in North Dakota somewhere... when I see kids, I check 'em. I wish one of 'em would run in front of my car, I'd take my belt off!!! LOL!!! (ok, I wouldn't go that far, but I'd fuss at them).
