Ah...I thought that would get your attention.  For the record, you are not sorry losers at all, but last night I was skimming over the web-site of one of those know-it-all "luthiers" (at least that's what they call themselves) who are so supposedly knowledgeable about guitars that they have no life and in order to compensate for that, they find that they just have to be harshly critical of everything.  They'll write blogs about how these evil guitar companies are forcing mass produced pieces of junk (well that's now the word they use, but...) on the guitar buying public and that we are to blame because we're ignorant.  This one fool wont even build you a guitar unless you prove yourself worthy  !  I would like to recommend to these clowns that they go out there and get a life.  If they can't find one that suits their tastes, I will be willing make them a beautiful, hand-crafted life......if they prove themselves worthy.

See thats just lame. It's not our fault that we choose mass produced "pieces of junk" that cost at most 1500 dollars (for those of us who are lucky to get such guitars) over their works of art that cost at least 3000 dollars. Maybe not all of them cost that much but they are in general quite a bit more exspensive that a lot of the mass produced stuff.

And even if mass produced was of the worst quality imaginable, most of us can really justify a 3000 dollar purchase to have a guitar just the way we like it.

That and the fact that they don't really advertise themselves to the "ignorant masses" (not everybody who wants to be a guitar player starts off reading "guitar player" religiously).

Yeah man.  I'd like to see the look on my wife's face when I tell her that I spent $3,000 on a custom made guitar...things would get rather "intersting" at home.
