I wish I could remember what restaurant that was that I lovvvved and wasn't in DC/MD. I'll have to ask LL if he remembers. I cried like a fool. LOL. That's the one thing I hate about moving across states - you can really lose your favorite spots and that can be devastating.  :-\

Dang, what restaurant was that???

Yeah, I just looked it up. It's not actually a "northern" joint. It's just in Indiana and Kentucky. LOL

Rally's used to be in Columbia... so it wasn't just "northern". They didn't survive though..  :-\

That was Gibby that said it was northern. I have never even heard of it. LOL

And I think the restaurant I was talking about (that wasn't in DC/MD) was TGI Fridays. Maybe? I'm not positive.

Yeah, our TGI Fridays closed, sadly.  I loved their green bean fries.

I also LOVE Golden Corral!

We need to define fast food, because I didn't think buffet's or any restaurant with a waiter could be considered fast food, lol.

We still have Sizzler... if you want to see the saints after church, you can catch a whole bunch of them at Sizzler, especially the ones with kids, lol.

My favorites are regional or local fast food joints. For burgers, it's either Whataburger or Prince's Diner (great onion rings @ Prince's!). For fried chicken, it's Frenchy's, the original on Scott in front of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. The national chains don't do much for me.
