yeah since I lived in Florida everything was north LOL!  I remember the snowbirds (old people from up north that come down for the winter and slow up traffic something fierce...but I digress) used to come down and ask for rally burgers.  I was like  ?/? the heck is that?

And I think the restaurant I was talking about (that wasn't in DC/MD) was TGI Fridays. Maybe? I'm not positive.
No, there are plenty of Fridays in MD.  My memory is bad, but dag, you don't even remember eating at Friday's?  :D :D :D

Did we eat at Fridays, LL?? I totally don't remember that at all.

I do remember Chili's. My first day there. Super Bowl Sunday. Lost in DC for 2 whole hours. LOL

I don't remember Fridays, though.

Dang. I was so hoping that was it so I could put this all behind me. I can even remember looking (whatever restaurant it was) online to see where the nearest one was because I was going to drive to Pennsylvania or Jersey or wherever I had to go! You know how I am when I want something. LOL!

Locally, the casino's have it hands down.  Seafood night is Friday night at almost all of the buffets... good stuff.  After midnight at the peppermill coffee shop all of the breakfast is 5.00.  They have some bangin' breakfast, too.  It's not a coffee shop at all.  If we get out of service really late, that's the place to be... if you feel like walking through the casino floor and cigarette smoke... if not, Denny's it is, lol.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a Fridays within walking distance of where you were staying.  Also, you went to the Fridays in Towson, by the Towson Mall.  I remember that because there was an accident or something in the parking garage.

I don't think there was a Fridays near where I stayed, but I do remember the accident at Towson, and I think I remember ordering JD salmon with loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli from that Fridays @ Towson. Yeah, I do remember that. You're right.

For some reason, I even remember the color and make of the car in that accident in the garage.

Yes, the small details. Yet I can't remember what restaurant that was whose absence made me feel like I had made the wrong choice moving to MD. LOL
