Had a bad experience with Perkins...it was bad customer service.

This guy takes my order and I ask for a sprite to drink and ranch for my salad.  This guy brings me back a coke and honey mustard for my salad. 

I said "I asked for sprite" he says "we're out"

STRIKE 1 

I said "Well where's my ranch?" he says "I couldn't find it..."

STRIKE 2 

So I say "Well bring me back a water and italian dressing please..." he rolls his eyes and sighs...

STRIKE 3 


So I told the manager that your waiter sucks and left

Ok first of all Ms. Missy, the Waffle House is two words, not one. I thought you had a typo the first time you did that. Second of all, it's THE Waffle House, not Waffle House without the article "the." This isn't because that's the proper name (it's not the proper name). It's because that's what everyone calls it. You don't go catch brunch at... Waffle House. You go catch brunch at THE Waffle House. Got it? Good.

Now lastly, how you know Mr. Waffle is the knock-off? How you know the Waffle House didn't copy off Mr. Waffle and just achieve notoriety first for its eggselent food??? Don't be thinkin you gonna come up in Selma hatin on Mr. Waffle. No ma'am. Shoot, you shouldn't even be IN this convo, Sis. Vanessa from Reno. But ummm anyway, if "eggs" and "grits" and "waffles" and "omelettes" and "bacon" and "sausage" and "ham" and "hash browns" don't catch your eye, then you just don't like breakfast. *shrug*

Oh and for lunch/dinner/whatever, their Texas Cheesesteak with Bacon and Mushrooms IS. TO. DIE. FOR.

Of course it catches my eye, suga'... but I havent had too great of an experience here in VA with Ye Old Waffle House. I am quite sure that where you are, they have the absolute best everything... I would expect that much. Perhaps one of the chefs can visit Newport News AND Hampton to help with the ingerdients... and then I can stand corrected... But until then... hmmm... ummm...errrr.... uhhhh... Its nasty.

Yep the all star breakfast is the best breakfast plate on the menu!
