I'm making a CD for my youngest sister for a graduation gift. I made a CD for my younger sister where her friends wrote dedications to her and sent a song idea. I made a CD booklet out of it and my sister loved it. I was aiming to do something different this time around. I wanted to get a bunch of songs and use them in a story about her. I was thinking about either doing a "once upon a time" type story or something similar to a news article complete with her graduation picture. The songs would be on the CD in the order they appear in the story. However, I'm having issues finding songs and her friends don't really know what to tell me. One friend bought up "Encourage Yourself" which is actually pretty good for this.
The songs I'm looking for are songs that will encourage her to remain confident, be the person God called her to be, and songs that will help pick her up when she's having a bad day. I want the CD to be something she can enjoy now and something she'll want to listen to and will minister to her later. Also, I'm not only aiming for gospel songs either. Songs like "The Light" by Queen Lafiah, "Sing A Song" - EWF, etc that are positive (and give advice) are good too.
Can you help me find songs for this CD?
