Updated Rigs!!!

Well, its about that time for us to post picks of our updated rigs. It's been a while since we shown what the lord has blessed us with. Since I'm first, I'll post a crappy cell phone pick of my rig. Its an Eden WT800A head, BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer, Alesis 3630 Compressor, Furman power conditioner all going through a 410xlt cab.

I don't have a pic of my Avatar 1x12 that I usually put underneath the Avatar 2x10. You can see the top of it in the second pic. But here is my current lineup. I'll be looking to sell the Shuttle 3.0 soon though or trade for a bass.

awesome rigs guys!...im not real familiar with preamps...how do they affect the overall sound of amp..and wat is their main purpose?

Pretty much the preamp is where you take the raw signal from your input source, process the signal with an eq, compression, etc. then it sends the signal to the actuall amplifying source. Basically, this is where your tone shaping takes place before being sent to the amplifier to be sent to the speakers.
