Display bars doesn't really have anything to do with how the phone works.  Its only a cosmetic thing.

This is true.  Its like saying, what is better, a Lexus LX or a Dodge Neon?  We all know that the Lexus (Apple) is superior  to the other products, its just a matter of do you want to pay the extra money for it. :)

First and foremost, the iphone is not a 4G, it's just version 4.0 I believe. 

Now TeiTei636 and I and have been iphone users  for about 2 years.  All this hoopla has kind of soured her on the new iphone, so she's ordered an EVO 4G.  I will wait and see how that goes for her before I change my phone.  AT&T has HTC phones, but they've messed up by blocking some of the best Droid apps.  My guess is that it's to appease Apple.

Yeah, that's what I thought you were saying. They're so doggone elitist. It's a turn-off for me. Personally, appleheads are the reason I have no interest in Apple products (other than the iPod). I wouldn't even look into the advantages or whatever just because I'm so turned off by their fans. *shrug*

Ahhhh, you're connecting overpaying for a latte because it comes in a Starbucks cup with overpaying for a macbook because it has an apple logo on it.  Because both Starbucks and Apple are cool.  If so, I agree with this.
