Wal-Mart Sells Caskets Online Cheaper?
« on: July 08, 2010, 06:23:29 PM »
Okay, last week, I had anounced to you all of my grandfathers passing and to pray for our family because his death took us by suprise. On fathers day he was alert and talking, then a couple of weeks later, he was unconscious.

When we arrived at the funeral home to make the arrangements and purchase a casket for him ($3,900), we were shocked to learn that Wal-Mart (wallie-world) sold the same exact casket for $2,000 less online. I didn't know that Wal-Mart sold caskets until my neighbor told us. Were any of you aware of this? It's really sad how it cost so much money just to be buried!

Yeah, I had actually posted this a while ago following the passing of my dad. Well, I guess we'll keep that in mind for future use (hey, we all gotta' go so why not save a buck or two in the process  ;)).

can you say creamation?   If LORD doesn't rapture me;just run me thru the barbie;scatter my ashes at the beach or from the mountain top.The whole funeral thing isn't how I want to go out.

Like;"he looks good,so natuaral"  yikes!!!he's dead,Nobody looks good dead!!!!! A patient of mine said it best;"if I don't survive the surgery doc, wheel me me,push the box to the side, and preach JESUS".

you could always rent a really nice casket, and then bury them in one that is more affordable.
