Fingerboard Maintenance
« on: July 14, 2010, 12:48:42 PM »
What do you use (oil or wax) as maintenance on a rosewood fingerboard and how often?  Do you ever apply the oil or wax with the strings on?  I just wipe the other parts of my bass with a cloth that has a small amount of oil on it.(lemon)  What do you use?

Lemon oil when I change strings which is about every 3-4 months of regular playing.
Keep God first and he'll do the rest!!!

Thanks, DD, I think I will go with that. My fretboard is looking a little dry.  I think I will take a small cloth and lemon oil it.
