PREACHING CHORD QUESTION
« on: October 03, 2003, 10:34:06 AM »
I can do the basic four changes for preaching chords...followed by a quick, simple run and back to the root.  BUT I HEAR MUSICIANS DOING MUCH MORE AND I DON'T WANT TO BE LEFT OUT...especially since I play for a church now.  Most of the posts I see have the basic 4 changes but I need some "in-between stuff".  My preacher never leaves A-flat, B-flat, D-flat, and E-flat (THANK GOD)!  SO, any help will be a great asset!  Thanks.

God Bless you my brother....

I will try to do my best.  Here are a few changes in Ab.

FP/LH/RH

Ab/F#Bb/C#FAb

C/E/Bb/EbAb

C#/FB/BEbFAb

D/AbB/DFAbB

Eb/Eb/GBC#F#

Ab/ F#C/FBbD

I have more but this is something to get you started.  Hope you're blessed by this.

Chris
