Music during service
« on: August 05, 2010, 03:31:00 PM »
Hello. We are a small ministry and do not have house musicians.  We use tracks for p&w and that is going well.  We use a pc to connect to the sound system to play our music.  Can you tell me where I can get instrumental/organ music to add during the service for prayer/offering/benediction etc.  Can you provide that for me?

You can try www.daywind.com or www.ntimemusic.com

I am part of a similar ministry. I do not believe there is a specific website that has strictly instrumental organ music.

This album has some great stuff. Steve Harvey used to play it on his radio show when he would "preach"

You can also have a musician record some stuff for you you to play back during service

http://www.amazon.com/Music-Moses-Tyson-Jr/dp/B00004T9UP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1281055938&sr=1-1

It seems the Moses Tyson cd is a mix of vocals and instrumentals.  Try Deryl Winston Sr, Ralph Lofton Jr on CDbaby.com  I just need some new stuff, you know God is not boring so we have to be progressive.

I have Ralph's, and its great, but I think its more jazzy than churchy. might work for you.
