Uploading a clip to Youtube

Ok guys, I'm getting ready to post my first clip on youtube but I want to know a couple of things before I do it.
1. How to post the chords on the screen
2. How to upload a clip thats not a video but it is a mp4 I think...Here's an example

You can post chords using windows movie maker or imovie.

To make a video of an audio file you will have to use one of the aforementioned programs and add pictures for the visual and add the mp3 for the audio.
