Motif XF/XS
« on: September 18, 2010, 05:02:33 PM »
was at GC today-so I SAW an XF.Didn't get to play it;some nasty jack was sitting there;playing a 5 note 2 bar line over+ OVER for 2+hours straight.

He must have been tracking something;pretty horrible at best;on his own little cloud.Plus;he was snotting all over the place.Too out of touch to cover his mouth.

Just nasty!!!
Maybe next sat the germs + he will be gone!!!Will takes some wipes IN with me.

Board looks good!

Our church got one (the XF).  It made it to us last Tuesday.  So far, I don't like it.  It takes to long to load the sounds and its kind of confusing on first getting to the piano voices.  I'm the organist and hardly ever play keys anymore.  I just happened to be up there to see what all the hype about this board is.

Hey Fellaz...

In my humble opinion, I think Yamaha wasnt thinking too sharply when they just dropped this board. There's nothing different about it compared to the XS but a new color and more memory. It pretty much has the same sounds as the XS. And if you think about it, people are JUST NOW really started to get/learn the XS model. So it just doesn't make sense to me for them to had drop another board...
If wouldn't suggest buying it. I'd stick to the XS or the S 70 Xs or S 90 XS.

Just MY opinion, may not mean much to some.

Much Love

I 100% agree.  If it was my decision we would have purchased the XS (especially at the cheaper price) I even suggested it and said there's no difference in the XS or the XF.  We don't even the use the ES to its full capacity so we dont need it.  But.....  Well you know how that goes

Well bro;thank LORD that whoever is in charge wants to go #1,and is willing to put their $$$$$$$ up for a change.

As you get used to it,past the steep learning curve;it does get easier.

To shorten load time;select some meat+potatoes;save to "favorites";that way you can work from 1 menu.
