NFL Week 2 Recap
« on: September 20, 2010, 07:37:13 AM »
Yes, I know the week isn't over!

So how about that Michael Vick?  Goodness gracious!

My Jets are back!  We lost Revis ( :'( ) but Mark Sanchez played well and we beat our hated rivals.

Am I the only one who's a happy Favre is playing so poorly?

I mean, he deliberately delays till the end of training camp.  The best players in the league report to training camp because they want to be sharp and at their best (and because it's mandatory).  THIS guy thinks he's above that, so he comes in late and he's completely out of sync with his receivers.  Now the Vikings are paying for it.

What happened to the Cowboys?  They're better than this.

So how about that Michael Vick?  Goodness gracious! I'm very happy for him.  Let his past be his past and let's move forward.  Some team is going to be lucky to get him next year.  Put to rest any thoughts of him being Philly's starter long-term.  This is just his audition for next year when he's a free-agent.

My Jets are back!  We lost Revis ( :'( ) but Mark Sanchez played well and we beat our hated rivals.  I always seem to pull for high draft pick QB's because all eyes are on them.  I'm glad they let him just play.

Am I the only one who's a happy Favre is playing so poorly? Nope!

Can someone explain to me what happened in the Green Bay vs Buffalo game?

I think the stats say that Trent Edwards for the Buffalo only attempted 18 passes and completed 11 .... Where as Micheal Vick attempted attempted 34 passes and completed 21.

did it rain or something? or is Buffalo going to a run heavy offense?

Well, on paper they are.   :-\

Your anticipated response: "Games aren't played on paper!"  or "That's why they play the games!"

I wonder what that paper has to say about coaching...Sure, players have to make plays, but it helps when the coaching staff puts them in position to do so.

I agree with the above poster.

The biggest problem is not having a solid RB and the poor O-line play.

And, Favre playing like he's still with the Jets, is comical. But then again, he's got no WRs.

While I chuckle at his struggles, I kinda feel badly for him. Only kinda, though.

It's absolutely wonderful.  I was a bit upset when he left the Jets and turned into John Elway.

Not me.  Not at all.

Well, now he's turned into John David Booty

I tell  you what, though. Rex decided to take the reins off of Sanchez and he responded well. Using Keller like that is the cure that ails that Jets passing game, I believe.

And just wait till Santonio Holmes comes off suspension.   :o

We won't be putting up 40pts, but with our defense we don't really need to.

Yea, I meant to add that part before I hit 'post'.

And, truthfully, there might be some 40pt games. *kanyeshrug*

How about the ear full Ray Lewis gave yesterday about those penalties called on him and Suggs. Oh yeah and how about Tom Jackson agreeing with him saying...."I wish they would get back to playin real football". WHat's your take on this sitcheeashun guys?????

Oh yeah and Michael Vick's playin well yesterday was Andy Reid's worse nightmare. When he allowed the Eagles to sign Mike Vick, he has absolutely NO, NO, NO intentions of playing him. If you heard his response yesterday to whether he was please with Vick's play he said, "Yeah we still got a lot to work on".... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Lawd have mercy you and I think a like. But I don't feel sorry for the Vikes because he said no, and they kept beggin him to come back...so they got what they paid fo.. ;D ;D ;D ;D
