Does anyone know what bass this is?

So I was checking my local pawnshop, when I ran into this bass. It's the second best bass I've ever had my hands on, but it doesn't have any brand markings on it. On the back of the head stock there are some numbers and "hand-crafted in (I forgot where it was, somewhere in Asia I believe". I only took a picture of the lower-half of the bass when my cameras battery died, so I didn't get the headstock.

So, does it look familiar to anyone?

Wow, I think that's it. The pawnshop's asking $500+ for it, used. Maybe I can get it down to $350...

You might as well get a new one for that much.

Peavey Gring BXP NTB. Made in Asia. I bought a six string version of the bass off Craigslist 3 months ago . I paid $300 for the bass with a brand new set of DR Highbeams. I think I am going to have it upgraded to an active preamp soon. The low B has great string tension but the tone does not have alot of bottom. The knobs are 2 vol and 2 tone. The 35 inch scale has been an adjustment for me. Overall I think its a great bass for the money, and I can set the action super low with no fret buzz. It has become my number 2 bass very quickly.

Yeah, a great bass for the money.  Got mine new for $300, and it remains my #2 instrument as well.
