The Heat are a good team, but I don't think there two Megastars can beat a cohesive unit in the playoffs.  I think they can win the 1st round because the Knick aren't a cohesive unit.  However, the Knicks are a talented team and anything can happen in the playoffs.

An article on ESPN makes the case that Howard should be MVP over Rose. Another article makes the case that Bulls' defense is what has them as good as they are, NOT Rose.

Well Skip from 1st and 10 has been trying to make the case for the last few weeks. I view the MVP as "what would this team be without that player." I also view it as a player who has pushed the team to a place that it was not expected to be. In that case, Rose would be my MVP. Lakers were expected to be this good, Orlando has been a bit of a diappointment, the Heat (some still believe King James should be MVP, I disagree) had huge expectation.

You would make this argument because you dislike Kobe.  Kobe is having a great year, but I think Rose should get it.  However, since the All-Star game no one has outplayed Kobe.
