So tonight will settle the Western Conference playoff seedings. Lakers need to win tonight to get #2 seed. A loss could make them a #3 or #4 seed. From my understanding, if Lakers get #2 seed they would face New Orleans (Hallelujah!!!) in 1st round. #3 seed has them facing Portland (which scares me only a little bit) and #4 seed has them facing Denver (scares me a lot).

Some people believe (and when the seedings are officially I'll make my predictions for 1st round) that Mavericks will get upset by Portland. I think it's possible. I don't see Dallas making it past 2nd round.

Just because the Grizzlies GM was a dummy doesn't mean the Magic GM will be a dummy too.

Now if you want to give up Gasol and a few first rounders they may listen.

Well, we're just a few hours away from the last day of the NBA season. Again, need the Lakers to win tonight. But I actually wonder if playing Sacramento will be tough tonight because it is potentially the last game in Sacramento. I will definitely be paying close attention tonight and then give my predictions for the 1st round of the playoffs!

What made it so bad was the fact that he directed that comment towards a referee.

It's bad enough that they may have to be without Bynum for a game or two but now Kobe has put David Stern's bullseye on his chest. $:-\$

I saw it when he said it and knew instantly that Stern wasn't going to let it slide. I'm not mad at ol' Dave, though. They could've kicked him out of the league for all I care.

Updated NBA news:

Oklahoma City loses to Bucks in OT and will be the #4 seed facing Denver in the 1st round.

Dallas beats NO and now we wait to see if they will be the #2 or #3 seed. Let's go Lakers.

Chicago clinches at least a tie for best record overall. If San Antonio loses to Phoenix, Chicago will have best record.

And if Memphis wins tonight, they'll be the #7 seed and face Lakers, assuming Lakers take #2 seed. If Lakers lose, they will be #3 seed and face Portland. I've heard (and rayjohnson may not like it....LOL) that Memphis may be playing bad on purpose to avoid a possible 1st round matchup with Lakers....LOL!
