Welp, look like this game is over for the Trailblazers. Hopefully Blazers can win both of their next 2 games in Portland.

Grizzlies vs. Spurs tomorrow. Very interesting game especially if Ginobili can't play again.

Lakers vs. Hornets. I expect Lakers to come out and play like it's Game 7 because right now they look bad and do not look like a 3peat.

Melo earned my respect in last night's game.  He was straight ballin'.  He played smart (except at the end.  lol), and was really dialed in. I wonder how the game would have turned out if he had more viable options to turn to when he got double-teamed.  Jeffries should have gone up on that last play, instead of trying to pass.  I figure the worst that would have happened would have been him getting fouled.  He had a chance to be a hero.....I guess that's why he only averages 2 points a game.  lol

He earned my respect to but I still believe that Amare is the man the Celtics can't stop. If both would have been able to play it may have been a different outcome. Man Rondo was ballin last night too....MY LAWD!! :o :o :o

Notice, though, that Amare played in game 1, so the middle was clogged and Rondo couldn't drive as effectively.  With Amare out, Rondo thought he was Moses (parting the Red Sea).

Ok, question...

If Memphis some how beats Spurs, would this be as big of an upset as when Golden State beat Dallas in 2007? Right now Golden State beating Dallas is seen as one of the biggest upsets in NBA history.

It won't be as big as that series to me because San Antonio isn't as good as Dallas. Dallas was supposed to be the potential champion that year. No one thinks San Antonio can win a title...except Teej.

I see.

One more question: If Hornets were to somehow beat Lakers and win the series, could you put it at same level as Golden State/Dallas? I ask because some have Lakers as favorite to win it all. But again, the more I see these teams, the more I'm beginning to believe Miami Heat as the favorite to win it all.

And I must say this one last time: the team with the MOST pressure in these playoffs is the Miami Heat. IMO!

Now that would be a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE....HUGE....HUGE-EST....UPSET!!!

Because no one is picking the Hornets to win another game not to mention the whole series.

Yeah, it would be like this:

Biggest upsets in NBA history:
1. Golden State over Dallas 2007
1A. New Orleans over Lakers 2011
2. Grizzlies over Spurs 2011

Just saw a tweet that said that Ginobili playing tonight for Spurs would be a game-time decision based on if they feel he would help them win tonight. They said he would obviously not be 100%.

I'd actually put it number 1 because the Warriors were a better team than the Hornets. The Hornets only have CP3...that's it.

ESPN is saying Ginobili is doubtful so I don't know what to believe. Either way, the Spurs are going to have to play much better to beat the Grizzlies.

To be honest, I don't really care where either upset ranks.  I'd just like to see either or both happen. Period.  That ranking stuff is just water cooler fodder anyway.  It doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things (to me).

Yeah I definitely want to see the Grizzlies beat Spurs. I don't want Lakers to lose because I want them to complete the 3peat!

I want to see both happen too....very, very badly!! I would turn cart-wheels in the streets if the Lakers don't win another title.

I'd really love to see Dallas come out of the West.  I just have so much respect for what J Kidd has done throughout his career.  I'd love to see he and Dirk win it all just once.....That is, if Miami doesn't make it to the finals.

I believe they have the ingredients to beat the Lakers but the question is...will it all come together. Dirk is unstoppable when he wants to be and J Kidd has been shooting lights out. They need their bench to show up and they can very well make it to the Finals. Dirk has to realize that he can not be stopped and those other guys need to back him up.

Okay, listen. San Antonio lost GAME 1 to Memphis off of a LAST MINUTE SHOT...WITHOUT their star player. For some reason we seem to be forgetting that the yellow bunnies lost their Game 1 as well by NINE POINTS...and they had ALL of their stars AND home court advantage. Nowhere near as close as San Antonio's loss. Add to that the fact that Los Angeles has simply been playing very poorly as of late, and logic shows that a Lakers upset is more likely than a San Antonio upset. Again, I repeat -- Los Angeles is not the big bad monster everyone thinks they are. Right now, they're as vulnerable as they've ever been.

Quite frankly, I don't see either one of them being 'upset'. It's Game 1 for crying out loud. Spurs lost Game 1 to Denver in '05 and still went on to win the championship. Lakers lost game 1 to Houston as well in 2009 and still went on to win the championship. So let's not get in over our heads, here.

On a totally different note, I'd like to get some opinions on something I heard last night.  Before the double teams started, Melo was draining shots from everywhere.  Then, a commentator said, "the Knicks need someone else to score in order for them to win..."  Keep in mind, this was before the double-teams started.  At that time, my thought was, "If this dude is knocking down shot after shot, why do they need someone else to score?"  Can someone help me understand his rationale?  Again, I'm only speaking as if he weren't double-teamed.  Soon after he said that, Melo started getting doubled, so that statement became relevant.  But, again, the statement was made BEFORE the double teams started.
