Having only two conferences is not enough basis for comparison to consider one elite. (Young folks and their vocabulary...)

I'm assuming what you're trying to assert is that the Western conference has more elite teams. I'm not too sure I agree with that sentiment.

2 more things I want to say and then I'm going to hush.....LOL!

1. Denver has really disappointed me in the 1st round. I really thought they could push Thunder to 6 or 7 games. Tonight is elimination night if they don't get it together.

2. I made the case this morning that whomever wins Heat/Celtics series will most likely get to the Finals. I want to push this a step further: If Lakers somehow get upset by either Hornets or whoever they face in next round I'd like to make the case that whoever wins Heat/Celtics game will mostly likely be this year's NBA champs! Boston is still vulnerable to mean due to Perkins trade. Thunder has the best chance outside of Lakers (maybe Dallas and slightly maybe Portland) to win it all.

Hold it now....If the West is such an "elite" conference, why do you feel that if the reigning champs lose that a team from the East will win? Doesn't that debunk your own theory? LOL!

Man, Bonner is KILLING us. During the regular season, he was automatic from the 3-point line...now he can't hit ANYTHING.

Absolutely not bro! In my opinion, the Celtics and the Heat are the best teams in the Eastern Conference (really want to give edge to Heat....). The only team from the West I see capable of winning it all is Thunder, maybe Mavericks and slight chance to Portland. Spurs are too small, Hornets depend too much on CP3. Heat is too athletic for half-court teams like Lakers. That's why a Heat/Lakers Finals scares me because Lakers have a hard time with athletic teams.

Btw, how about Grizzlies taking the lead back from the Spurs?....GLORY!!
