Huge debate?  Who cares who it means more to?  Whoever wins the title will be glad they did.

I exaggerated. It was a debate on Mike and Mike in the morning.....LOL!

Derrick Rose vows to be more aggressive:

Rose has done what basketball coaches have told him since elementary school — when all those guys are on you someone else has to be open. Pass the ball.

Rose has done that and watched Bulls offense struggle. Tuesday night he is going to see what he can do if he attacks more, he told the Chicago Tribune.

“I definitely believe in them,” Rose said of his teammates. “But I want to see what I can do if I take the double-team on. I saw what the double-team did the last two games. My passing the ball the majority of the time really isn’t working. Or we’re not running the right play to get people open. We went over the plays and play calls (Monday). (Tuesday), I have to be way more aggressive….

“That’s not me,” Rose said. “I’m thinking too much, trying to get the ball out of my hands so that my teammates can make plays. … I have to change my mindset right now. Usually when I come out, I see how the defense is playing me. They’ve been double-teaming me the whole time, especially in pick-and-roll. The big (man) stays up until I get the ball out of my hands.

“Starting (Tuesday), from beginning to end, I have to be way more aggressive. I have to find a way. I don’t know how I’m going to do it. But I have to search out the opportunity and go for it.”

Sounds like he's going to try and put the team on his back.  Trying to score over double teams doesn't seem like the best strategy.   :-\

Please, do that Derrick!  I want the series to end at 4 games.  Please, employ that strategy.  Score 85 points.  Make your teammates mad.  Make it easy for one of the, if not THE, best defenses in the league.  Please and thank you.

Very important game for the Bulls tonight! They lose, series is virtually over. They win, it's tied 2-2 with CHI having homecourt in best of 3.

We're heading to OT in Miami! But I think Heat will pull it through! Too many offensive weapons!

Wow!  Dwayne Wade with 3 blocks in about a minute of overtime.  I tell you, when Wade and LeBrond are clicking DEFENSIVELY, the Heat are nearly impossible to beat.

Wow! I honestly didn't expect Miami to be able to get to the Finals and perhaps win it all THIS YEAR.....SMH!!! And I just found out that Miami would have homecourt in the finals. Wow! LBJ is validating himself as clutch and deserving to be in conversation of greatest of all time. Now I can see why he teamed up with DWade and Bosh. It's all about championships in this league! For Miami, it's been a championship or bust year. Looks more like championship right now!

I should probably explain the above icons.

In basketball, I don't believe any player can have a good season, even a championship season, and be considered in conversations with all-time great players.  I believe a player needs to show consistent playoff appearances AND wins before he can be discussed with the true greats of the game.  As you stated, it's all about championships unlike football where a player can be consistent, hold records, and still be regarded as great even without a ring.

The Heat are playing inspired ball.  Their leaders have hearts of champions, and it's rubbing off on the rest of the team.  I haven't seen defense like this since Boston had its championship run.

Right!

LOL! You think the Heat's defense is better than Chicago? Uh, doesn't Chicago have the coach that was the masterpiece of Boston's championship defense?....LOL! I'm being sarcastic but seriously, I'm shocked Miami's defense has been THIS good. With the Chi coach I really thought their defense (being the best in the league) would do the job but it hasn't as much as I thought it would.

I Absolutely do.  Where have you been all season?   :D

Lebron is a shutdown defender (just ask Rose).  He's also great at playing the passing lanes.

Wade is a shutdown defender.  He's also great at playing the passing lanes and has UNBELIEVABLE anticipation and timing when it comes to blocking shots.

Chalmers is an excellent defender.

Joel Anthony is an excellent defender and a great shot blocker.

Chris Bosh is actually better than advertised.  Solid.

Udonis Haslem is also an excellent, hard-nosed defender.

The Heat are extremely athletic and stifling defensively.  It's why Rose, the MVP of the league, has looked LESS than ordinary this whole series.  The Bulls are an excellent defensive team, but when the Heat turn it on their defense is just on another level.

Wow!  Dwayne Wade with 3 blocks in about a minute of overtime.  I tell you, when Wade and LeBron are clicking DEFENSIVELY, the Heat are nearly impossible to beat.

Yea man.  For real.

OAN, I think Lebron is proving that he really is the Most Valuable Player in the NBA.  No matter WHO wins the award every year.

On yet ANOTHER note, by rights Jordan should have won the award every year he played from 1990 to his second retirement (with the exception of the year he returned after the first retirement).

He was, without a doubt, the most vaulable player in the NBA but the league likes to show everybody some love.

As a 4 year fair-weather fan of the Lakers, I am officially declaring the Miami Heat as the favorite to win the 2011 NBA title! The biggest threat that I see will be Oklahoma City. Chicago not ready yet, Memphis not ready (even though that opinion may change), Dallas I'm not convinced will win title....YET, Boston is old and losing it and Hawks just not winning it....LOL!

The only way this changes is if Lakers win the next 2 games in Dallas. If Lakers return home from Dallas down 3-1 (and obviously if they lose in both in Dallas it's over....LOL), it's over. When you can only make 2-3 3 pointers, you will not win it all.....SMH!!!

Bottomline: Miami Heat will win the title this year! #thatisall

Word on the street is that Lakers are about to hire Mike Brown, former Cavs coach as the new head coach. I'm not sold on this. I think Adelman, Shaw or one of the players (Kobe, Fisher) would have been better. We'll see.

Yes, and I'd lean towards Fisher because he's a great talent and because he's closer to be done than Kobe.

How about Lebron's defense on Rose?

My goodness.

How about Mike Miller playing like the guy they signed?

If the Heat had Haslem and Miller for the whole season they might have had the best record in the NBA.
