If Dallas wins game 5 then they need to close it out in game 6.  I, also, predict a huge game from LeRobin James...will it be enough, who knows?

Welp, tonight is the big night, especially for the Dallas Mavericks. In my mind, it is a critical game for both teams but more of a must win for Dallas. As I've said before, if Dallas wins tonight, I still believe Miami is capable (I hope not) of winning 2 games at home. And to be honest, this would fit my script for Miami winning in 7. Each team wins at home. I know many say they have 2-3-2 format and think it favors the hometeam. Idk, but to me Dallas MUST win tonight and if they don't I find it very hard to impossible to win 2 games in Miami. Many said Miami in 6 so idk. But tonight A LOT is one the line! I expect Lebron to play VERY hard tonight in the midst of the criticism.

Prediction: Dallas wins very close game tonight!

Wow! What a game in Dallas! 60-57 Dallas leading at halftime. Terrible defense by both teams, Wade potentially injured and the focus being on Lebron. To me it looks like Lebron has lost confidence in his shooting....SMH!

WOW! Looks like a "ESPN Classic" Finish!! Let's go Dallas!

DALLAS WINS AND TAKES A 3-2 LEAD IN THIS FINALS AND IS 1 WIN.....1 WIN.....1 WIN AWAY FROM THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND SOMEWHAT (I said somewhat....) OF AN NBA FINALS UPSET!

Next game Sunday at 8pm!

So tonight is a big night for both teams!

Dallas leads the series 3-2 with a chance to close it out tonight! Many legacies and storylines are at stake. Can Lebron, Wade and Miami extend this classic series to a Game 7 or will Dallas finish the deal and win their first championship?

My analysis: Obviously, this is a must-win for Miami barring the fact that they must win for this series to be extended. But I would also make the case that Game 6 is critical for Dallas. Not only because they are 1 win away from the title but because I'm not sold they can win Game 7 at home. In order for Dallas to seal the deal, the bench must be productive, Chandler must be huge, defense must step up, and they must finish plays. Also Dirk must be effective. I believe that if it is necessary Dirk will take over and have a big night. Also, the shooting must be on point.

For Miami to extend the series, it all boils down to Wade and Lebron and how effective they are. Most of the pressure is on Lebron because of the overall pressure on the Heat to win it all and also his "failures" in the Finals this year. If Miami wants a game 7, Wade and Lebron MUST be big and be aggressive, particularly Lebron. If Wade and Lebron (along with Bosh) are effective, Miami has a great chance of winning and everything else it takes for them to win (bench) will fall into place.

Prediction: My belief is that if Dallas wants to win the title they MUST do it TONIGHT! A Game 7 in Miami may not be good for Dallas. Again, if ANY team is capable of winning 2 in a row at home down 3-2 it is this Miami Heat team. We saw it last year with the Lakers. Can it happen this year? We'll see. But I believe Dallas, especially Dirk, plays with a "Game 7...do or die" mentality tonight realizing that their best chance to win and seal the deal is tonight! Honestly, I'm very torn but here is my prediction......

DALLAS WINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP TONIGHT!!!!!

So Mavs lead 53-51 at halftime with Dirk having a terrible game! Jason Terry is keeping this game going! If Mavs win tonight, he should get some consideration for Finals MVP unless Dirk comes out strong. Lebron looks a little better but still not driving in like he should. The key for Miami to extend this thing to a Game 7 is driving in and drawing fouls! They CANNOT depend on jumpshots!

Cheers to a great 2nd half! Championship for Dallas on the line and elimination on the line with Miami! Let's go!!!

I'm really happy for two of the game's greats, Dirk Nowitski and Jason Kidd.  Of course, I would have preferred a different outcome.  But, I can't be mad that those guys won, finally.
