-Just read something about Spurs looking into a trade of Tony Parker.....
To me I'd go with who has played more games. Irving hasn't played a lot of games. That would make me doubtful. In other news:-Lakers have been rumored to explore trading Gasol to Minnesota for Kevin Love. I don't like that trade. One columnist believes that Lakers should trade Bynum and Odom to Orlando for Howard. Really don't want to see Odom go at all.-Just read something about Spurs looking into a trade of Tony Parker..... -Looks like we're heading to a lockout as players' association refuses to accept any form of a hard cap (even the fair cap, which in some degree still puts a cap on salaries). Right now the system has a soft cap which allows teams (by different moves) to go over the cap. Owners want a fair to hard cap. Players want the system to stay the same.
Minnesota shot down those rumors about the Gasol trade but they said they were interested in maybe getting Bynum. The Lakers need to get a point guard first and go from there.Trading Tony Parker should be the least of the Spurs worries. They need to get younger. Tony Parker is the youngest of the big 3.We are definitely going to have a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg lockout. Did you guys hear what David Stern said at his press conference? Stern has done a lot to build the NBA into what it is today but he can be a real dictator sometimes.
YES! Lakers need to get a point guard. Why not go after Chris Paul or Deron Williams? Lakers still have a good chance to compete for a title (even though my early favorites would be Miami, OKC, Chicago and Lakers). Biggest thing Lakers have to do is find a way to get more athletic. Heat have became (in my opinion) the standard for building teams (athletic and a bunch of superstars). Lakers were the standard from 2008-2011. That's why OKC went big.
INDEED! I think they should do whatever they need to do to get Dwight Howard. I'd give up Gasol and Bynum for Dwight. BTJM
those too are not worth that much
Man, I'm about to cry. These Tony Parker trade rumors are really heating up. I understand they're trying to rebuild after the playoffs collapse, but TONY PARKER? For some dang DRAFT PICKS? I'd rather them let go of Tim.My heart can't take this.
San Antonio would be absolutely NUTS to trade TP for one of these sorry behind draft picks. It would take a whole lot more than one of them little boys to make me let go of a perennial All-Star! This all stems from the remarks TP gave about the Spurs being past their championship winning years....*vonneshrug*
We'll take Tony in LA...matter of fact, any new PG in LA would be an upgrade. However, I heart D. Fisher's character
He said he didn't say it, according to a tweet that was from him that someone retweeted. This
If Tony Parker went to LA, I'd take Bin Laden's spot as Public Enemy #1.
You ain't lyin....man that would really be TERRIBLE! I would feel the same way I felt when they stole Pau Gasol from the Grizz. I know it's working out now but at that time, I felt sick to the stomach. San Antonio can't be makin deals wit da debil! #thatisall
It can't be a steal when the trade worked out for both teams.
Jeff Van Gundy said he would trade Lebron James for Dwight Howard....what say you???I would do it in a HEARTBEAT!!!!
What the?......SMH! What he's probably thinking about is Miami's lack of size.
Exactly but now you put the ball in Dwade's hands and there's no argument over who's going to do what. Lebron and Wade virtually played the same role on their teams before coming together which is why it was so hard for them to get used to playing together. Dwight Howard is your center.....Dwade is your SG/SF...Bosh is your PF. The Heat won't do it but the Magic would do this deal in a New York minit!
