;D.  He's reppin'.  He tore it up when he came to my church a few years back with his dad's band.  You've got to check out what my dawg MENDOZA is doing though. ;)  I know you'll like it. ;D

...as far as the Yammy's in Oak...I say Yes.

...I knew it. LOL  The badges were throwing me off a lil' because they looked like the gold Maple Custom badges but it had to be the lighting.  The Maple Custom doesn't have that much black in the badges anyway and the 10" tom on the kit was sounding a lil' bit like Beech. :-\  To me anyway.

They sound good.  I would stick with the Yammy's though.  Yamaha Maple Custom Abs. are very, very popular in the industry.  Ask Calvin Rodgers.

Yes sir!  MD Fest 06 and SSV2 both have DW and Yamaha side by side!!!  I think they are number 1 and number 2 in popularity, but not necessarily the "best out there."  There are a few custom companys out there with some serious heat.  And Sonor (SQ2) might not be as popular but you would be a fool to sleep while the wolf is on the prowl.  ;)
