411 - Shuttle 9.0s going cheap at TB..

Since the new GB Streamliner series (SL600 & SL 900) has been issued..  used Shuttle 9.0s have been selling like hot cakes .. one guy just got one for $455.. it went in 5 minutes... another one sold for $575. but most are selling for $600 (what I paid for mine) ... the heads themselves are only a year and a half old production wise and new they sell for $830 ... I am currently selling my Shuttle 6.0 to the other bass player at my church.. So if anyone is interested... drop by TalkBass ad check the classifieds....

I thought the 6.0 was great... I like the 9.0 even more.. it gives me a bit more headroom and it seems to be voiced deeper... but the shuttles are great amps.... I am sold on GB.

I have been using a Shuttle 6.0 for a few months and all I can say is wow!  My EBS rig is too big and heavy for me to load in and out of the car due to neck and back problems and now lives in the church 24/7, so this amp is an ideal mobile, light weight solution for me to travel to my students and gigs.  I use mine through a Bergantino AE212 cab...sounds awesome!

I think they are great heads.. I leave an Avatar 212Neo at the church.. the other bass player uses it now as well since he has my old head.. I like the 9.0.. but I thought the 6.0 was great too.. They aren't fancy heads.. but they sound great.. and are very functional and have a very broad tonal palette..

Right, once I get the head I'll start saving up for a cab. I like the 2x12 NEO cab Genz-Benz offers but I'm not sure if it will fill the room like my current setup (4x10 on top, 1x15 below). But I'm tired of lugging those big things around when I go to different churches; I can lift the NEO AND the Shuttle in one hand.....
