If you're on a tight buget or if you want a new sound. This is a grat cymbal to get. It has a nice shimmering and high - pitched tone.

Yes, I have heard of those cymbals. Thomas lang uses them. They have a smaller bell so that annoying ring will go away. They sound awesome...expensive but awesome. I would buy em...

ROCKER!!!!!! do NOT get the mcs series from meinl. i myself have a meinl crash that  i really love but the mcs series is the begginer kind like zildjians zbt or sabians b8. if you are going to buy a meinl, i suggest the amun, byzance, classics, or raker series............

Thanks you warned me just in time. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get an A Custom Zildjian splash. It will probably be worth it in the long run.

I think the A custom splash will be good however you should look at a sabian aax splash in the 6-8 in size and they sound real good.

UFIP

The best splash cymbals ever!!! I wish I owned a few. These are the greatest splash cymbals you will ever hear, and I am a Zildjian guy. You should listen to UFIP before you buy they're hard to find and a little pricey but they are the best.

Is UFIP a abbreviation for the cymbals or is this the name of them. Either way, I have not heard of these cymbals. I think I will look them up. Is there a website with these cymbals on them?

I LOVE my 12 inch Wuhan splash that I got free with my terrible sounding Wuhan China crash!!! I trashed the china but kept the crash!! It is really brilliant and cuts through any sound mix. Meinl, UFIP, and Istanbul are my favorite foreign cymbal makers. I am in love with A and K customs, all else is secondary!!!
