There are only 2 vista service packs. The last of which was released in mid 2009 I believe. Vista had some pretty serious teething issues but it has been stable for some time now.

I am running vista with no problems.  Win7 sounds nice but I am am waiting for win8 before upgrading.

Wolf-can you talk about how you are using XP on 7?

My brothers computer went belly up=so he went from XP to 7;NOT having a lot of fun!!!

Im still playin with 7 as a n00b, someone donated a laptop.

You create a "virtual machine" that runs inside 7, you can install windowsXP, ubuntu, etc. even win 95.
