I have been trying to learn keyboards and the person who was working with me use to chord out songs not only telling me what chords but also what position, 2nd, 1st or root.  Is there anyone willing to do some songs for me like this.  I think if I could see myself playing a few songs I could get the hang of it.  By the way I am 60 and for the last 15 years have wanted to play.  I get discouraged when I try to play songs that are chorded out on this page and my position is all wrong.

Here's the deal, chord inversions are basically up to you. If you want to sound like the CD, then there are specific inversions. When we post chords here, it's more or less easy to tell the inversion if u know the notes of the chord.

I would recommend you get very familiar with the concept of chord inversions, then pick out some chorded songs on here and go through and write out what inversions the chords are in.

If u have a sample song, I can walk you through it until u get the hang of it.
