Anyone use to watch Deep Space Nine (Star Trek)?  I've just started with Season 1 (via Netflix of course) and it PRETTY GOOD.

Yeah, I watched it.  I caught on to it after it had been in syndication for a while, though.

I watched occasionally, but didn't care for it much.  It was like the soap opera of the Trek universe.

It was good.  I like the way they worked the Changelings and the Dominion into the show.  The Star Trek series that I've liked have had the mysterious figures like Spock, Data, and Odo.  DS9 had a strong spiritual connection within it's story that I liked as well.

It was a solid show and was quite deep...deeper even than the other Star Trek incarnations. I think you'll really enjoy it.

I watched the first season. After that, I felt like bassthumpa.

Isn't it great?  My wife, daughter and I have been watching Heroes.  We never watched one episode, then I said "let's give it a shot".  In the past two weeks we've watched the first season and we started on the second season last night.

My wife loves my PS3 ALMOST as much as I do now.

I watched it faithfully in it's original run... The Dominion wars was when it got reall interesting to me.. and once a certain Klingon came on board.. but initially Avery Brooks was the draw.. It was good seeing a brother in such a role..

You have to give 'Robin Hood' a chance.  I love it. :)  Now back to the thread....

....I'm liking it so for (first 8 episodes).  I do originally remember se episodes about the Changelings that I thought were good back in the day, but did watch enough to completely understand.  I guess I will soon.

I'm into season 2 now and it is good!  They've pretty much moved away from the Star Trek on a space station theme and have its own direction which I like.

Man, you make me want to rent it.  I got into the series after the first couple of seasons.  It would be cool to go back and watch it from the beginning.

Netflix!! :)

Its nice to be able to watch entire runs of TV shows you use to (or wanted to watch).  Currently I'm watch:

1.  MacGyver
2.  DS9
3.  Highlander (Its now on instant streaming)

Since there's absolutely nothing on TV I watch (besides for "V", which to be honest isn't all that good), I watch an episode or two a night.

:)

I have Netflix.  I do a lot of streaming to the PS3.  I'm going to check to see if DS9 is available for streaming.

I'm about to start Season 3.  The end of Season 2 was gooouudd.  It really started to talk about the Dominion and "The Founders".  I'm loving it.

I like the introduction of Section 31. Evidently all is not "kum-bye-ya" in the federation.
