Group activities?
« on: March 31, 2011, 12:35:51 PM »
Was wondering how many groups sing at community events vs. just ministering to the souls in their churches. In other words, do you wait for people to come in, or do you go out to them?

What, if any, activities do you do in the greater community?

Also do you have fundraisers?

Right now our choirs primarily sing at church and at choir anniversaries, revivals, etc. I'd like for us to do more as it pertains to the community.

We used to do "choir outreach" activities where we would go out in the neighborhood and sing (sort of like Christmas caroling, but it's not Christmas).  We haven't done it in a while, though.
