I'm a 20-year-old college student looking to succeed at this thing called life. What's one piece of advice you'd give me?

1. How long have you been playing the bass?

2. You're in the military right? If you could do it all over, would you enlist again?
Did you feed your spirit man today?

2.  Off and on for about 15 yrs.  I say off and on, because there were stints when I didnt play bass for 3-4 yrs at a time.

2.  If I could do it over, knowing what I know now, I would enlist as soon as I was able.  It was all in God's time though :).

Good!

What is one principle that you hold dear, that you couldn't see yourself backing down on, even if everyone you respect was giving in to it?

ALOT of prayer LOL.  Love man. 1 Cor 13:4.  Also, the first church where I got saved split (ppl got too much power and tried to out the pastor).  When the pastor started his new church with pretty much everyone but the few families, for a while we didnt have Sunday School we had marriage seminar.  The church was 80% married couples and I was one of maybe 4 ppl that weren't married (engaged at the time).  So for about 5 months I got counseling (hazed) every Sun morning about principles of marriage and family.

The principle that I view everyone as a potential for positive change.  If you search in the baddest jail, for the worst criminal, who has done the most henious of crimes, I believe that its possible as long as he/she has breath, that they can change and do something great for God.

Ive been slipping a little lately, but on an average day, I shed atleast about 5-6 hrs.  Usually no less than 2.  Those aren't usually consecutive. Sometimes half and half, or 2 here, 1 there, 3 there.  I have to stay steadily proficient on three instruments, so that may all be on one, or split depending on what event is coming up.  An old instructor used to say, there are 24hrs in a day, how you use them are up to you.

Ughh...thats tough.  Well considering what Ive been knocking nonstop,

Alan Snoop Evans- I'm STILL crushing that Free To Worship DVD and amazed.
Morgan Turner- Has nice taste in when to drop licks and when to stay with the song.
Maurice Fitzgerald- Probably my overall.  He has chops, but his playing is just SOOOOO groovin

If you had to live for an entire year on only one food item (one dish), what item would you choose?

Chicken Fettucine Alfredo.  Got protein, got carbs.  And I can eat chicken everyday and not get tired of it.  Is that feeding the stereotype?  ?/?
