I have no time to play anymore.  I have 4 games that are outstanding and the sore winner in me won't allow me to resign the games.

Came to a revelation about my approach to WwF games.....

Against MOST opponents, I am in the role of predator.  I look for tile placement mistakes and pounce on the opportunity to score big points.  I take a lot of risks against them and most of the time they pay off.

There are three players that I have the most trouble with because they are also predators, and if I take a risk, they are more likely to take advantage of it and pile on the points.

I noticed this based on the two games I have going now.  In one, I'm the predator.  In the other, I'm constantly looking over my shoulder and trying to predict what they might do if I leave this square open.

For the record, I'm ahead in both games, but one is getting a little tense.

My philosophy is, if I cant get those TL or TW tiles, I'm going to do everything to make sure my opponent doesn't get them. I remember one game -- can't remember against who -- ended up taking forever because we were playing one letter at a time trying to keep the other from snatching those big tiles.

Funny how the three that I was talking about all seemed to post within the last 4 posts before this one......I'm sensing a conspiricacy (int)

Forreal? Mine used to just tell me that what I put in was unacceptable, but never told me which words were unacceptable.

Ok, wait. I thought that's what you meant. You mean there's a list of words WWF deems unacceptable?

If so, that is hot! And, where is it?

When you spell a word like "Teej", the pop-up tells you that "Teej" is an unacceptable word. It used to just tell you that your input was unacceptable. It's mainly helpful when trying to score multiple words on one turn. Tells you which parts of the word won't go.

I play exclusively on my iPad.  Won't even install it on my phone 'cause I wanna stay employed  :D :D

Anywho, when FIRST started playing, it would come back and say that the word(s) you played was/were inappropriate, but didn't identify the word.  As TJ pointed out, if you lay down multiple words, you don't know WHICH word (s) are wrong.

Then there was an upgrade.  With the upgrade, it tells you WHICH word(s) you've misspelled.
