Well, he's already openly gay, and been so since before the story broke... so I don't know how a women's prison would benefit him.

I didn't know he was already gay.  So I guess a sentence to 35 years in prison with men most of whom are straight would be blessing to this guy.

Yeah living in SF, I get to find out everyone who is out... on the evening news.  They've been having rallies and everything for Manning.  It kind of bothers me that they support whoever is gay without regard to whether they did something that was actually wrong... *shrug*
