The awkward moment right after praise and worship, when you leave the musician pit to go to the bathroom, and as you're walking up the aisle toward the exit, the pastor calls you up to the pulpit...

The awkward moment when you try to cover up your fart with a cough or something.

The awkward moment when you're lip singing to some music and the track cuts off and your mouth is still moving.

The awkward moment when you're out on a date, and you get out of your car, lock your door, close it, and realize the keys are still in the ignition.

The awkward moment when you flip someone the bird who cuts you off on the road only to realize it was your pastor.

The awkward moment when you are at the podium acknowledging special guests (or about to introduce a guest) and suddenly blank out and can't remember the person's name. At all. Then someone mercifully tries to feed it to you but you can't figure out what they're saying so you keep making the "huh??" face. You finally get it and acknowledge her and everyone says collectively and loudly "it's AH-LEESE" (which is not what you said).

That awkward moment when a sister from your church calls at 1:13 a.m. and since she never calls, you know it must be urgent. You clear the line and call her back and she answers with an awkward tone that you can't quite figure out. After she asks if you're okay, you ask if SHE'S ok. You're both fine, so then there's that brief but awkward silence while you both try to figure out why the other called.

(Turns out her 3 year old was playing with her phone and called me by mistake).

Hows about when you are awaken by the boot up sound of your roommate's playstation which is quickly followed by the sound of labored breathing, moaning and cheesy music. You hear the scurry of your roommate and then a quick decrease in volume of those strange noises.

Still dazed from the sleep you realize your roommate has decided to pop in some adult themed entertainment. This realization wakes you all the way up, however the extreme awkwardness of the situation leaves you frozen under the sheets pretending to be sleep. You now hear the sounds of a faint rhythmic rustling. The extreme shock and confusion on what action to take leaves you stuck in a suspended moment of awkwidity.

The sounds of the rustling along with the lights of the tv soon after cease and your roommate goes to sleep, happy thinking that you are none the wiser while you are frozen afraid to move still in shock and unsure of your emotions for the next two hours.

The next day between classes you stop by the housing office to check when exactly the new housing will be open.
