Interesting show IMO, especially for people like PHBrown.

Ive only seen most of season 1. Awesome show. You find out in several different ways that prior sales is everything, and licensing and patents make it happen in a huge way.

Yeah, everybody has an idea. An idea itself is worthless if you have not done anything to execute that idea. I like how they just went in on the people with the questions. It shows you how you have to be able to think fast and that you better know your stuff inside and out.

I've neither seen nor heard of it, and didn't click the link, but you guys are making me want to see it. It sounds like American Inventor or whatever that show was called. It was along the lines of the other reality/contest shows where contestants (in this case budding inventors) are competing for money to bring their invention to market. It was a good show. I really enjoyed it.

I think if he would have been more prepared, he would have gotten an offer. He gave the guy the screw face when he told him the value that he gave his own business. He also didnt have any before and afters, which is one of the most important things when marketing a weight loss product. I like the idea and his energy, but he needs to work on his speech. $:-\$

I thought the black dude got grilled...James Mitchell...YIKES. They brought this dude to tears. And his facial expressions were priceless.

This show really does teach you a lot, though, about the process of entrepreneurship.

I'm not sure I like this Damon guy. He tries too hard to be a big shot, but he never really adds any expertise. He just comes in and sweeps up what the others throw out there. And when is the last time anyone wore Fubu?

OMG @ the idiot named James Mitchell! OMG!! I would've taken that $225k and gone on about my business. There's no doubt in my mind that the 7% they offered him would've been enough for him to live off of for the rest of his life. Not to mention, with his knowledge of chemistry, he could get to work on another product... and another and another and another and another...

OAN, I do understand how difficult it is to walk away from something you conceived, carried, birthed and nurtured. Even after all these years of helping build churches, I still have a hard time walking away when my time is up. It's just hard. But still... he had a great opportunity.
