No, let's not poll.  Just pick a location (Memphis sounds great), and let's plan.  Just a note, I'm shooting for some time in Oct/Nov to travel, so if you guys plan something in that timeframe, I'm down for wherever.

October is better. November is the beginning of holiday season and often, the beginning of bad weather.

Maybe we should check with Daryl, RayJ, and HD to see about dates and locations.

Florida is also a good location to consider. It's easily accessible, and we have a lot of members there (though they are spread out pretty far from each other). Good weather.

Well, yall could always visit the Home of the National Champions. I can take you all to view the historic Toomers Corner tree before it kicks the bucket. I may be able to even pull a few strings and set up a meeting with Coach Gene Chizik, eh? Maybe let you guys rub the trophy, eh? Eh?

November is no good as that's Seraya's birthday.  Come to think of it, October might not be good either as that's Jen's birthday.

Both are no good for me with school and all...unless it's weekend--that might be able to work. *shrug*

And, I'd prefer Memphis as I've never been there, either.

March might work. It's far enough after the holidays that people's finances should have recovered by then. The weather's not too bad in March. No major holidays to drive up the cost of gas/flights, etc. Although that's quite a ways off, so I'm sure the "fizzle" would die out by then (as it has each time we've tried to plan something in the past).

Jonathan, does Jen's bday potentially rule out the whole month of Oct for you (and Seraya's bday for Nov), or just a part of it?

Interesting question as I asked myself that very thing as I typed.  The answer, at this moment, is I don't know. I'd have to look at a calendar and see what the school schedule looks like.

So Lordluvr got word earlier in the week that Bishop NJ was coming to the area for a conference. After a little wrangling to get a few folks together, what resulted was a meeting at a restaurant in MD:

Behold

Sjonathan, Bishop NJAnderson, csedwards2, LL

You guys look so good together! For some reason I always thought NJ was taller. But anyway...I'm so like jealous of all you guys meeting each other. I only wish I would go somewhere so I could meet yall. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Sorry for such a late reply guys but I've been in the hospital since returning from Baltimore.  Yeah, I had a wonderful time with the Mid-Atlantic LGM crew and wow, I didn't realize these brothers towered over me like that.... I feel like the "lil" brother. Lol! Sitting in fellowship with them felt as if I knew them much longer.  They truely made Da Bishop feel welcomed.

If I EVER came for an event up there LL, CSE and SJon would definitely be my entourage AND musicians... now WHO HAS THAT??!?!?!  Lol!

As far as a "meet and greet", just give me a date and time and I'll be there.
