Pastor Zachery Tims

A couple of my friends are at GMWA, and one just said that they announced that Pastor Tims had a heart attack and passed away a couple of hours ago in NY.

I pray this isn't true. There's nothing online yet. Anybody hear anything?

Some gospel artist have been tweeting that he's passed away. I just sent a tweet to one of them (who usually responds) to see if there was a link or something confirming his death.

I hope it's not true either.....*sigh*

You know, I'm so sick of all these false death rumors/lies. If they didn't lie so much, we wouldn't have to wonder if stuff is true. Ole stankin liars.

He's not dead.  He's just getting a divorce.  People posted it with messages like "praying for the family" which made other people think he was dead.

Nessa that happened a couple years ago.  There have been confirmed reports that he has indeed died of a heart attack earlier this afternoon.

Nessa, he divorced in 2008.

A friend of mine (one of the Pace Sisters' sons) just said that his pastor friend just spoke to Pastor Sims' assistant, who confirmed that it's true.

Now of course, from where I sit, that's still hearsay, but it's the most direct confirmation I've heard thus far.

Yeah, I heard from a few more pretty trusted sources. Still nothing on the news or any public statements from his church or family.

I'm truly saddened. The man is/was 42 years old. I mean.... *sigh*
