Deep or not, it's all fun and games until the rapture rolls up on you, and you realize everything prophesied in the bible was happening under our noses while we were laughing at those who pointed it out.

I can smile, though, because I plan on welcoming that day.

Ugh, this is all the people are talking about... is this Earthquake. I mean, really... Now they done started saying that there is going to be a Tsunami cause of the hurricane this week... I could just scream right now.

Got a good jolt in Germantown, Md. My mom is in South Hill, Va and she said it reminded her of living in Cali.

I think that as Christians we need to take every viable opportunity that we can get to tell about Christ. If an earthquake or any other event heightens a persons sensitivity and receptiveness to the Word then I don't see anything wrong in using that time to promote Him. You might never have another opportunity!!

Checking in. I'm fine. Fam's fine. That was a pretty weird experience. I was sitting in my car, responding to a text. Next thing I know, the car starts rocking from side to side. At first, I thought it was a strong wind gust, BUT IT WOULDN'T STOP!!! LOL. In fact, it got worse for a few seconds.

I started looking around, thinking some kids were playing around. Then, I looked at the trees, but they weren't blowing. Then it hit me, "This is my first earthquake! Sweet!". It lasted 30-40 seconds, I guess.

My sis is taking the Metro and she's having a little trouble getting home, lol.

I went to Qdoba for lunch and was cracking up at CNN's breaking news coverage. They were just trying to interview anybody that would give them the time of day, lol. The lady was like, "This man is from San Francisco and he's been in an earthquake before. Tell us about it..." The guy was like, "When we felt it we already knew it was an earthquake (he's sounding all expert-like). People were scared, but we already knew because we've been in one before..." This went on for a few mins, then they switch to someone who had NOT been in an earthquake before... I'm sitting there like, "Really? Is this really breaking news any more?" LOL!

That's how I felt. I've been through the Whittier earthquake, Landers/Big Bear quake and the horrible Northridge earthquake...there is NOTHING like waking up at 4am and feeling like you're going to fall into the earth as it's shaking uncontrollably. $:-\$
